Liz Cripps is the CEO and Founder of WACADS Group Inc., a responsible artificial intelligence and automation company that specializes in smart technology and custom applications to help businesses grow and scale. With two decades of software development experience, Liz brings a rare blend of technical expertise and strategic vision to her leadership.

She holds an undergraduate degree in Political Science and Sociology from McMaster University, where she served as the elected Academic Vice President of Social Sciences. During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in establishing the university’s Experiential Education program, a legacy that continues to shape student learning today.

Liz has earned certifications in Project Management from the University of Toronto, as well as credentials in Business Analysis and Robotic Process Automation. Her professionalism and sharp acumen leave a lasting impression across both education and business sectors.

Under her leadership, WACADS Group Inc. has become a recognized force in ethical innovation. The company builds Responsible AI systems designed to empower and support humans. In October 2024, WACADS was honoured with the Bank of Montreal and Deloitte Canada Women in Business Award. It is a 100% Certified Sustainable Organization and 100% Certified Women-Owned by WeConnect International. In 2023, the company was nominated for the TrailBlazer Award for its groundbreaking work in Responsible AI and Automation, and received funding from Global Affairs Canada to showcase its solutions globally.

Beyond her business achievements, Liz is deeply committed to community service. She serves on the Board of Directors and manages teams across various age groups within the Ontario Minor Hockey Association. She is also a founding member of the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Joint Task Force, which advocates for equitable opportunities for women and under-represented groups in sports. Liz is known for organizing food and clothing drives in support of Coats for Kids – Lions Club and various food banks throughout York Region.
